So inspired in part by my blog resources I recommend post, and Chris Brogan's recent post, I've decided that every Friday, I will recommend resources, or products, or people that I have found useful in some fashion.

So to begin, it seems only fitting that I recommemd some twitter people / accounts, that I either enjoy the tweets of or admire for whatever reason.

Let us begin!

@nick_burd – Nick is a Peterborough based talented freelance designer that I had the pleasure to work with in a poorly run, joke of a mickey mouse operation, he was certainly the only bright spot. (Aside from me, that is of course). I've had the pleasure of watching him grow and expand as a designer in the past several years, and have no problem recommending him to anyone. Infact, he is one of the few LinkedIn recommendations I have given.

@worldonmute - Adam is another freelancer currently based in Peterborough (although, he plans on moving I believe), and I often find we have alot in common, but can disagree on some things. Gosh darn apple fan! I have yet to meet Adam in person, but I'd like to before he leaves Peterborough!

@AlanaCallan - Alana works at Fleming, and has proved to be very connected within the Peterborough community! A wonderful example of the power of Social Networking, she has been very helpful, with words of encouragement, and even the odd job lead! She communicates, and provides wonderful resources!

@ptbo_canada - This account has it's pulse on what's going on in the area. I enjoy following this account, because it is often on top of the most breaking news happening in Peterborough. The maybe because they accept direct messages and emails ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) tips from followers. Watch this account, because a blog is forthcoming!

@scottiemc2 - Moving away from the local angle, Scott Epstein is a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu black belt and the current Jiu Jitsu coach for Team Liddell on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter. Einstein, as he is nicknamed, teaches out of the 10th Planet Burbank and was very quick in replies to my tweets at him.

@chrisbrogan - I like Chris's work, I am angling to get his book sooner rather then later! I enjoy his blog, I enjoy his tweets, and I enjoy his YouTube videos as well! Social Media superstar, and all around smart and super nice guy!

Well, I think that about sums it up! That's what I am recommending this week, and I hope you enjoy. What do you think? Follow Friday with a little more explanation.

I encourage you to do the same!
